No - for two reasons: First, the "business judgement rule" provides management with broad discretion to act as they see fit to grow the company. Second, if your hypothetical were to take place it would create an arbitrage opportunity that would be self-correcting. In other words, the CBS share price would be bid up to reflect something close to its net asset value less transaction costs or Mel would do it first or a 3rd party acquiror would do it. The IPO is good. Just relax and hold on.
