Don't get me wrong...I understand what you're getting at. I
just can't help but think you'd change your mind if you
beefed up your end of things. I can tell you right off the
start that your connection speed and your RAM are critical
here. Some great posts have been made to that effect on this
thread. I have a cable connection with Videotron and a Dell
P266 with 64M RAM...nothing special, but it gives me everything
I currently need. I must agree with you on the Greenline logo
spinning. Sometimes it drives me nuts too, but most of the time
I can place a trade within a minute of wanting to place it. I'd
be with E-trade, but they don't allow shorting yet.

As far as Greenline getting market depth goes, what you'd miss
is the dynamic updating that CSW provides. For me it's of utmost
importance..."feeling the rhythm" of the trading. I guess it
depends on how you base your trading decisions.

Anyway, I'd beef up your computer before anything else. If
possible, do get the cable modem connection...it's worth it.
