A LOVE NOTE FROM ARTHUR TO MICKEY
MARKET MAKERS ARE IN POSITION TO BLACKMAIL MSD
MIKE,SOME OF your advisors who you hire to manage your stock repurchase program, have a conflict of interest, because they have inside information+++being as close as you are to the heavy rolling options community, does it ever occur to you that some consortium of them would even have you harmed, so they could make money on the event? Look at Mr. Gates, even he may have underestimated how well he would come out of this multilayered federal suit process!...Is part of being worth $5 or so billion, overestimating what your powers really are?..I have been in asia, where powers similar to what you are dealing with, kill people all the time!...Do your present obvious successes protect you from present friends/advisors who may turn on you after criminal charges are brought++++such charges stemming from blatent ethical conflicts of interest+++such potential charges wasting your resources+++ exactly what do you think bill gates is learning now from his dance with doj?+++do you have ANY thoughts that he might be enjoying the process? (and his father is a lawyer)...could you please explain why you need one of the most powerfull market makers on your board?+++all these guys talk to each other+++why take chances when everything else you are doing for the shareholders is of such quality?++++why do you think i am summoning the courage to evenmake these statements?++++even $6 billion dollars does not mean you have all of the instincts i have+++if you ever get to read this, thank you very much!

OT-OT

Voltaire, Read your MM post. Based on what you said, your basis for making decisions is influenced to a goodly extent on that which is valid for your purposes. Does this change much for you? In other words, do you seek to review those things that you concluded at some time in the past as valid against new or different views?

Questions asked as a matter of my interest in the use of subjective assumptions based on imperfect information and its application to probability results.

This is not solely an academic undertaking. I need stuff I can use in the trenches!

Not in anyway as a prejudgment of what you have come to accept as a useable for you. Based on your post you seem to be able to do rather well using your MM take as a basis for making "easy money". Whether I or anyone else agrees or disagrees with your assumptions or truths is not, for the purposes of my post to you, important to me right now.

What is important to me is that you have postulated a take on MM and based on that you have indicated you have been very successful with that.

Much to learn about MM and their considerable influence on the market place.

More to learn and employ that which takes us beyond the fundamentals ( for me, at this time, never quite discarding any of that.) I am entertaining other approaches in addition to fundamentals. Your's, of what you have shared, I take it, is working well for you. That is the important thing for you and me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Many ways to undertake a successful journey. Regards, QT
