From Stockmans Forum (Stockhouse yesterday) LeRoy, BII-T Bid.com International BII.TO 3:59PM 2.38 -0.50 -17.36% 11,917,530 N/A 3.00 2.37 Never before have i witnessed such action on the TSE since the Bre-X days. As i predicted, the stock tried to gap open at $3.00 and went straight to $3.50 and then the Protraders (shorts) started to attack it downwards to create a wave of selling using the usual jitney houses at all the key prices such as $3.00, $2.90, $2.80 etc..to hit all the stop losses. Buying was relentless from across the board and guess which big house was on the sell side.?? You got it ! Yorkton securities quickly rushed to cash in their warrants to get the funds for the financings they announced. In my opinion, BII should not have signed a financing deal with Yorkton as they were most definielty on the short side to begin with. It doesnt matter though as the company is financed well and can now move on the the next stage. BII has become Canadas most popular internet stock. The pros slammed the price down towards close with all their might and were succesful to scare some into selling and lock in their profits quickly. This stock has become a traders paradise with the liquidity it poses. The short position must have burgeoned to unprecedented levels for sure and that is typical of all internet stocks and the subsequent reasons for them to run higher and faster in the next cycle Tommorow : 2 scenarios are posssible. Almost guranteed that the shorts will try to open it lower so they can scare more into selling before they start ripping the stock upwards to cover short positions, and the long sides will see todays drop as an opportunity to avergae down and ignore the gyrations. But it seems from the way the stock was trading today, it is also possible for BII to gap upwards tommorow morning and head towards $3.00 again. Technically, the stock filled up the gaps in share price perfectly as expected and put in a wave of profit taking in the stock for the undecisive. ***************************** Exchange:Symbol:BII.T Closing Price 19/11/98: $2.38 (bid 2.37/ask 2.38) BII - BID.COM INTL INC - Company Website bid.com close $2.38 -.50 down 17.4% volume 11,917,500 Another record breaking day for BII.T, traders were very happy, making .10 cents some of them traded it more than 40 times today. If you follow the trading pattern of BII.T today it is very similar to all of the tech stocks on NASDAQ they too got hit in the last hour of trading. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subject: I'm Dizzy, Others must be too! BII:TSE Content-Disposition: inline HI Leroy; Wow! Didn't know I was going on the forum newsletter. Thanks for your input. I didn't plan to e-mail again this quick but I present this to you tonight after a shocking roller coaster ride on (BII). I really would like to here a response if possible. It will be a long night wondering. I watched this Show from the opening bell to the close and I'm dizzy. In the first hour and a half, almost 4 mil shares changes hands well over $3.The show really gets crazy and in the next 4 hrs. or so as just under 6 mil shares continues to change hands. But! (BII) struggles to hold in there between 2.70- 2.90 as evreytime 2.9 is touched, bang, down she goes.If that's not enough, in the last hr. something happens and even with all that trading and activity 11 mil+, (BII) seems to have very little staying power and dives to close at 2.38? I'm dizzy over 11 million shares in one day and the last 1 mil+ has that effect! Please, will you or someone please make some realistic sense about what is happening and hopefully fast. As I am sure I am not the only one out here wanting to know. Where is (BII) going to with all this activity? Why didn't it hold somewhere with all that volume? Is this just a speculative move or is (BII) really a happening? Is 3bagger right in his concern about (BII) drifting back down? Too much goings on for that. Right? Regards, PHIL
