I have never met a succeful and consistent day-trader who wasnt actually a MRKT-MkR...You do not have the ability to act fast enough or the ability to get true info fast enough...You have to decide if you are a position trader or a day trader..I am a position trader..I'll expalin the difference.. I do a great deal of research, emploing private detectives at time when a situation can be resolved with my input directly, at other times I need to get involved, wearing a wire or what have you, Any I may spend weeks and from5 to 25K in attaining the required info..I may visit the co pretending to be an Interrested and Friendly investor or Promoter..whatever it takes to get close to the Bad Guys.. I then take a large position I keep between 10 to 20 positions at all times with a good portion in cash,,, and usually every month 2 maybe 3 deals collapse and I collect the profit ...while always searching for new deals and laying out new positions..( There is never a shortage) The Human instinct ( Self Preservation) is the most powerful on WallStreet right underneath Greed..The entire Country witness good old Slick Willie....lie to the very end...even as he knew the odds were stacked against him....Well Small Co execs are no different and oftentimes Greed adds to their desperation. If a CEO can make 10-20 million by screwing the public by lying, omitting and fabricating the truth ...he will...it is more than he couldmake in 20 or 40 years even at asalary of ..lets say 500,000 per year. This reality needs to be adressed and acknowledged if you ever want to become consitent at amking money in the market..
