Someone relaying information known to be from the architects of a well designed securities fraud is a player in the scam and NOT unknowingly passing info as you put it.
ala: Guttman/Gort==>Carl Kruse==>KevinL==>JimB==>macker
(please feel free to elaborate)

There is a difference between believing what you're told
and acting upon the false information to build a trading base
manipulated for profit. (ala "TopDog")

Yes, you are good.

Again, guilt applies to who was privy to the scam.
See second paragraph above.
To recap from my earlier post:

I'll highlight so you can see it better this time.
Those who put out that dribble knew it was false and therefore were
able to act upon it's effect. It's a microcosm of what the primary
players (ICVI/MTEI mgt.) did. The same false information was being
recirculated for the short-term gain of those publishing it.
Your take was smaller, but based upon the same type of subterfuge.
You were but one tentacle on the octopus of the scam, helping to
feed the greedy mouths of the originators (ICVI/MTEI mgt.)----
I find you equally guilty for the collective damage done through propagation of the false P/R's.

It's so sad that phase II of the scam was cut short by the SEC's suspension
and investigation. It must have been really difficult raking in a measily
$6,000.00 after accumulating another $35,000.00 worth to sell to a
new batch of “subscribers” that by then knew better.

Maybe you should come clean and tell what you know to investigators: enforcement@sec.gov

if not, I hear S. America's nice this time of year

I too have done my homework..

No, Jim. WE did our homework; you didn't. And by setting yourself up as one of the authors of a newletter, you were tacitly claiming some authority on the subjects about which you chose to write. Except that you really didn't know a damned thing except what you read in PRs and were told by company insiders, kevinl, or Carl.

Did you encourage people to buy your wretched picks? You bet you did. I could go back and find some extremely embarrassing posts.

I realize you've learned a lesson, though considering the boards you contribute to nowadays, perhaps you still need a good deal more instruction. It seems you didn't mean to hurt people, but let's face it: you did. I'm glad to see that at least you had the good sense to get out of Top Dogs.

But seriously: why did you think you knew enough about this stuff to do it in the first place?
