Darrin it is interesting that Paul said, "by the grace of God I am what I am." At one point he also called himself the "chief of sinners." Paul knew that in the physical sense, he was the chiefest of sinners but once saved by the grace of God, his standing was equal to Jesus own standing with God. That is why Paul refers to the body of Christ as Saints. That is our standing. God can not look upon sin, so he sees perfection when He sees us through the shed cleansing blood of His Son. When we join the family, we have an intersessor that died for our sins"once and for all time."
This is the most wonderful news of the mystery of God not known before other than in Paul's epistles.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God." Mat. 9
