Scrapps: Thanks for the links. You mentioned uncertainty concerning what the EWSD is. EWSD is the name of Siemens flagship central office switching system. It's in the same class as Lucents 5ESS, Nortels DMS-100 and the Ericsson AXE-10. Like the AXE-10, the EWSD hasn't achieved much penetration into the US market. However, it has a huge presence in foreign markets. BTW, at their web site, Siemens indicated support of UDSL which I believe to be another name for G.Lite.
