Thanks, Rob. Everyone pursues the almighty dollar, and comforts are more preferable than not, but happiness and contentment does not come from having large bank accounts. I have to fight the urge to want more and more. It's never enough though, if one thinks that very large bank accounts alone can bring happiness. If one has $500,000 in liquid or stable assets, is $1M going to make you twice as happy? Not IMO, not even 20% happier. I don't think even 10% happier, although a splurge of pampering may seem to bring temporary contentment.

By the way, I like Vancouver!. Have a friend in Camus (sp? hope I'm right this time!) with a fabulous view of Mt. Adams. Have relatives in Portland. Grew up in Seattle. You are very fortunate.....
