(BTW, I'd love to have so much money that I don't even know that I've booked $6,000 on a stock until months later.) Perhaps I'd have a grain of sympathy if you had stated in your newsletter at the time that you hadn't checked the company out at all -- you were just repeating the opinion of posts on SI and had no clue whether they were true or not. But that might have hurt your ability to sell at a profit, I guess. Your attitude -- "I haven't been sued by the SEC, so I must not have done anything wrong" -- is really commendable.
