Anyone else get this message and/or talk to Schwab to see about their offering and who it went to and what it entails? J, If you are a Schwab 500 trader (ie, active trader), you can contact Schwab's IPO department and they will start sending you information about offerings; you can then request allocation of those offerings. Thursday, they sent out a blurb regarding a mattress company IPO (I can't recall the name of the company; they make air mattresses and advertise extensively on the radio.) I don't think Schwab has ever offered an internet IPO, but you never know. I'll try to find out which underwriters they represent.
