INTERNATIONAL WAYSIDE GOLD
MINES LTD. ("IWA-V;IWYGF-L") -
More Assay Results 1200 Level

J. Frank Callaghan, President of
International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd.
(the "Company") announces that Richard
D. Hall, Ph.D., P.Eng. has reported to the Board of Directors of the
Company assay results on the remaining 6 underground percussion
drill
holes of a 24 hole program completed during 1998 on the 1200
level (map
enclosed) of Cariboo Gold Quartz mine at Wells, British
Columbia. A total
of 223 holes have been drilled by the Company, on Cow Mountain.
An
additional 147 surface holes were completed by previous
operators
between elevations of 4,000 and 4,900 feet on Cow Mountain. A
mineral
inventory calculation for Cow Mountain using the complete assay
data base
is in progress. Management believes that an opportunity exists for
a
combined open pit and underground mining operation. Drilling in
the BC
Vein and Butts area continues.

WL,

Mia Culpa, I have been very mean to Chucka in the past! We were virtual enemies at one time. He has helped me on a few occasions when my computer had trouble, and I advised him on a couple of issues and we have grown to know more about each other.

You might as well know that I have had words with Richard M., and many others in the past. Laser and Thall are not the first to disagree with me, nor perhaps the last. I take a view and defend it and if I am wrong, then I am wrong.

The $7000 per ton comes from a study done by Mike Thomas for GPGI on the Oro Grande and refers to "reduced iron complexes". Those are a portion of the deposit only. My thought was that they should be magnetically retrievable, and the person posting on this thread at the time agreed. I would think that his past posts here would make interesting reading for you!

Jack!
