Thanks for this- buried in this thread you will find numerous examples of levels which I have posted with accuracy, in last forty hours alone some of them were-- '1550 as resistance of NDX' this was held in the first rally I had already highlighted that if 1500 is taken out and 9000 is taken out it is a new ball game---- 1539.60 same day if taken out 1532 will be tested, 302 on SOX to 310 -- 1155 on SPZ, as resistance-- 1155 was a pull back and last but not least 1158 as going long yesterday these are my micro levels where as JPN index trade and INTC 110 call SOX long calls after 275 was breached are latest examples of calls we make here-- it is all part of a integrated strategy on global and US stock markets I would not text you with CAC DAX and BVSP breakouts we predicted in wake of SI bearishness on them, this was in 48-72 hours JPN remains the trade of the week..

Thanks the best thing is that I don't rely on any of these sophisticated techniques and my crude methods it seems work-- I am now watching for that 14700 break of Japan on DOW my point is 8056 as a support-- I would think we will take this 14700 out to attack the 15200 resistance and JPN trade those who have not squared will see better than 15% in two weeks..

IQ,

You said:

"The pits say they will test 1158 and move up-- I will say 1156 even 1155 will be seen the Pits say go long on that level and get out below 1152-- possibly 1158 level for long -- he will think to bring the market to unchange a little lower to take it back up.."

That was a great call!! <gg> I trade the e-mini with a program called
"Advanced Get".. Using a Real-time data feed. And see resistance
at 116800.. I have put a chart up on the Internet. The multi
colored lines (horizontal) are proprietarily indicators that were
developed by Trading Techniques. These are calculated from the
last pivot and use a special Allorgrithem to throw out future
support resistance areas.. If the mini breaks through this level it
will become support. It can "leak" a little and still be
valid. As happened with the 11600 area today.. I was betting
support would come in there but found your thoughts on 115800
most fascinating.. thanks for your ideas and input

IKE,

I appreciate all that you say, and the information you are able to garner. In actuality, I did not take the short. It looked like a short to me and your indication that the pit wanted to get long in the 58 level just confirmed that it probably was a short. However, I decided to wait and play the long bias that I suspected was coming, so I did wait. I also am fearful of losses having experienced some since I went from paper trading, a piece of cake compared to the real McCoy due mainly to the pyschological factors involved and waited for the up-trend to be confirmed before getting long...hence my long at 60.50. The only better entry would have been 60.00 a few minutes later, so I am pleased with my entry on the trade. My exit was a bit premature, but I don't want to be a pig and did not like what I saw short term on the TICK chart, nor the 2 o'clock est time frame, so I exited at 65.00. I could have gotten a touch more, 67.00, had I exited on the spike and that is something I need to work on.

I may not have paid the dues you have, or have the experience you have, but with this wonderful place called SI, I have the opportunity to learn from some of the best and have done so. Due to my circumstances currently I trade in a much shorter time span than you do and sometimes disagree with your assessments, however, the disagreement is more due to the nature of the time of the trades than the underlying message you send. I appreciate your time, energy and wisdom you put into these boards.

Keep up the good fight and feel free to offer pit levels whenever you feel it is appropriate! :)

Thanks again,

-Scott
