Since Darkgreen has initiated his angry diatribe against Valence the stock has risen about 70%, insiders have purchased 500,000 shares, the company has reached commercialization, MCI/Worldcom Bert Roberts has joined Valence and rumors of other alliances are unfolding. Zeev has uncovered a "toothless" floorless, Energizer is rumored to be the repackager, Alliant is moving ahead with vlnc involvenent.

I got my bets on FMK/vlnc!! Thanks Darkgreen!

Mark: You state, "In any event, Roberts is too savvy to be snowed by the rhetoric and hype..." I agree completely. So the question then becomes, just why would B.R. join the VLNC board at this point, eh? Just food for thought.

Meanwhile, I was taking this time for one last web "peek" since I'll be out-of-loop for a week starting as soon as I can shut this here computer down. Got some personal time comin' to me and I plan on being as far removed from this here electronic "paradise" as possible. Good luck to everyone and here's to VLNC performing well.

Regards!!

Ultimately Bert Roberts, Darkgreen, nealm, and everyone else has a fiduciary responsibility to THEMSELVES. When gauging someone else's actions, I always assume they are acting to insure their own interests are paramount.

VLNC makes NO profits! So why get hung up on the b/s, other than to discuss financing? The questions are will they make money in future, will their financing run out before then, and if not will it materially effect future earnings? This thread has been very useful in addressing those questions. Everything else is useless.

I only have a small percentage of my money in VLNC. I prefer Nasdaq 100 companies, and gold/platinum. But VLNC is my speculative pick.
