Reserve size, production cost, environmental impact, political stability - these are all factors to determine commercial viability for for the MINE.
Production cost and reserve size will justify cost needed to
set up the MINE.
Initial cost to set up a MINE will be in the range of 18mm to 25mm
I was trying to get several models pertaining to production cost
based on assumption that Canyon Mule Mine (Carlin Trend) is around $165 -$170 / oz (will need somebody to help here, Chuck?)
and got some interesting results:
We should be in area of $120 per OZ (conservative estimate)
If this is true, with 4.7 mm OZ (just from the 4 holes) and margins
of $174 - we have MINE that can earn $817,000,000 for the life time of mine, so it is already worth to invest 25mm to set up this MINE
I think exciting time is ahead of us!
