Marden- Appreciate you taken my posts with a sense of humor. Ericy's made a bet and it looks like they are going to lose. Will they out perform the the likes of nokia and lu? Not likely. Qcom is a wildcard but things are looking better all the time for a one to four bagger in the next two years. ericy will get a boost when they settle with qcom, but the companies "mentality" is what will hold them back. If cdma breaks lose in china and you still like gsm, nokia is the way to go.

Of course what the hell do I know? Most of my dough is wcom which is slower and surer than anything else I own. And by the way, I do think that qcom (and a lot of its groupies like me) believe that ericy HAS participated in deceipt and non-competitive practices, which is something that is not in ericy's favor when cutting deals. I spoke with a BofA honcho who helped lend q the big bucks for Mexico, and he stated and I quote, "Qualcomm is a voracious negotiator and absolutely believes that it hold the keys to cdma, they built the business with that as a requisite." If they don't they would have been toast a long time ago.

Good luck.
