Funk, you might call Townsend and ask the software folks your Dual Pentium question. I don't know much about dual cpu technology, but if it operates with a "parallel processing" concept, the software probably has to be written specifically to take advantage of the dual computation pathways. They call this "scalable" software. Oracle has beaten the pants off of Informix and Sybase because their software was first to take advantage of multiple CPUs which gave it tremendous throughput.
