Thanks Tim. I'll try to see if anyone using Fidelity and others (Waterhouse, perhaps?) has had a better shake than what we have experienced.

Will post you if I can add something more on this.

Regards,

QT

tim,<schwab market orders> yes! I had the same experience with their market order system. That is why i stopped ever using market orders with them. It does not seem to me that you have the market maker screen (i guess it's called level II or something)...anyway, FOR ME the ability to monitor how many mm are in line, and at what prices enables me to pick a very tight limit for my limit order, and THEN AND ONLY THEN do i get such good trades that i feel i not only pay for my expensive feed, but i also feel that i am getting essentially no commission trades. It may be my imagination, but i don't think it is. In other words, exactly how active in Dell (if one is buying Dell) is the market maker of the broker. I am much more interested in that! But i am relatively new at this, and may have just fallen into a pattern that works for me. Does anyone have any comment? Of course, I am always looking for ways to improve the situation! Thanks!
