Alan,

"Their is only ONE God and you wish not to accept that you were created if you agree you were created than you can't be God."

Then how can you worship both God AND Jesus, if their is only one God? Why is it that some denominations worship Mary as well?

"Relying on ones self will not cut it.............. The spiritual world would be utter chaos Sam with your way of thinking it would be worst than anything we could imagine. Uniformity would be non existent since your world would be composed of Trillions of Gods...."

You say this because you do not understand the concept of the Christos, it has not yet come to you. If you understood, you would know that the concept as it appears in the individual mind is uniform, and it is rooted in a belief in God. Much as you believe Jesus was taken up to sit at the right hand of God, we all sit with God. Catholic communions used to be offerred with the admonition "Body of Christ". We may or may not be God's right hand, but since he is the all, in this way we are all part of God's body, and this realization is what shows us how meaningless our own bodies are. You think that someone's belief that they are PART OF God shows that they are trying to put themselves over the all. This could not be farther from the truth. Those who have seen the Christos within themselves have realized that they are but part of the All of God, and surrendered that which they had thought themselves to be to it. In this way, they understand what they do not know, and replace it with wisdom from God.

This is where the responsibility comes in. If you believe as you do that you can continue to do whatever you were doing and be the same Alan, then receive perfect absolution through confession, then you do not take responsibility, and allow yourself to continue on your previous path. Seeing the Christos is seeing the wisdom of God or Christ, and taking that responsibility unto yourself, instead of choosing to be led by the hand.

It is a different world where we all do what is right because it is right. If you do what is right based upon your belief in Christ, then that is a better world too. It makes little difference to the world how you or I become good, as long as we do, and it becomes a better place. Sometimes the only difference betweeen a good and bad place is in how we perceive it, and our roles in it.

Like I said, the best way to receive absolution for sins, is not to be forgiven, but to learn from them, and stop doing them in the first place. If your concept of Jesus includes this process, then more power to you.

Peace,
Darrin
