I woke up dreaming the other mornin' that I was brushing my teeth with gunpowder and someone in the background was saying "yeah, man, you get a really nice high this way." Is there something in the book on that? The next morning was funner. I woke singing "Heart and Soul".

Penni, Sorry to hear that you have nightmares about cats. I gather that you like cats, so maybe you identify with them, and when bad things happen to cats in your dreams, bad things are happening to you in real life? Kittens are helpless, and rather demanding. Are you angry at yourself in your dreams for not being stronger, more perfect, for not being able to avoid being hurt? I put it that way because you say "get rid of" the dying kittens, and I think in real life you'd be trying to save them. So maybe you are impatient with yourself for your ordinary human frailties? Sorry for the impromptu, unsolicited analysis. I did want you to tell me the Dark Man dream, but if you don't want me to analyze it, I won't. I will try thinking loving thoughts toward the invisible cat, but I don't see how I can pet it. CobaltBlue
