Thanks for your post. It is very hard to nail the long-term TOPs, and yes the 10000 DOW projections are as enoying as the 5000 projections when the market was heading down.

In my previous posts, I mentioned that I am expecting a 5% decline this month, as long as the NEW HIGHS stays below 100. If 100 is exceeded significantly, then I have to review it again.

Lets say we do get a pullback soon of about 5%, the key in determining the future direction is how does the rebound perform. That rebound would probably occur in the later part of DEC/JAN which could be the 1st quarter rally. That 1st quarter rally is crucial to determining the rest of 1999
