Dan, I wouldn't be depressed. First, you are going to pay a fortune to any broker you go with. That is a given. If you EVER make as much off your account as your broker does--whoever it is--YOU'LL be driving a Mercedes too!! Second, the bottom line for me at least is high performance, ie, fast trades and good service. You can't beat MBT there, IMO. They are not perfect. There is a constant struggle to get the system upgraded and deal with tech issues, but that is industry-wide, trust me. Being a successful daytrader has everything to do with how good you are at trading and little to do with the above issues. I have made bundles using MBT and lost them too. The amounts of money totally dwarfed the commissions and how many pennies somebody is charging along the way. If you were doing millions of trades, yes, you'd have to worry. But on hundreds of trades, forget about it. Go with the broker you like best overall. Rick
