When it comes to analysts, cynicism is a healthy attitude. The media is just repeating what the big houses are saying. I really think a lot of people who did not get out in July are selling now. I have many friends doing just that. They ask me "Isn't the situation in the world just as bad as it was in July?" or "Can things really get that much better?" I take the latter question to be a good one about risk/reward. Intuitively, people don't see a lot of upside.
