You can't defend your position which is a point blank lie. You have your little Christian cohorts who like you have no concept of reason or logic. Your like the mama's boys who toss rocks at others and if you get one thrown back you run hide under mama's skirt and tell on me. ~~Onward Christian~cohorts ~~ (is that how it goes?) :o) I am telling you Sam, I don't have to defend it. There is One Who will. You are so dumb you can't even understand what your fake word says. Right again Sam, thats why I don't tell you MY words. They are Word's of Life. You guys have all the pretty speech and accusations, I will leave all that to you. Let's look at the whole chapter. Hebrews 8: 1 The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. 3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." 6 But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises. 7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8 But God found fault with the people and said : "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. 10 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 11 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." 13 By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear. And sin will be forgiven without begging through Jesus, or wearing a guilt complex to hell and back. Yes sin will be and is forgiven, not because I beg, but because i have one who "speaks" for me. He spoke at the cross, and on the third day when He came out of the grave He REALLY SPOKE!!! :o) ....and He continues to speak for me.... Romans 8: 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. In other words..... He says........been there, done that.....Dan don't have to!!!! Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow!!You like the Romans try to use religion and God to exalt yourself while condemning all others as devils, blasphemers, sinners. I do not believe I have ever tryed to exalt myself... all exaltation goes to The Father Son and Holy Spirit. there may have been some time I have "judged" someone and I am wrong for doing that. But I believe Jesus makes it clear that fig trees bear figs or they are worthless. The fruit of the Spirit is clear. When I do not see that then I sin.....but then I have one Who speaks for me.......... Thank you again God for Your wisdom. 1 Peter 1: 3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. Sam.......have a nice day! dan
