I believe the market next week will be a dog.
On weeks like next week, stocks like XYLN are the best, because they are insensitive to bad conditions. FON looks good for Monday.
Check it out. I say several points.

Tim,

Just curious why you think INTC may prewarn. They just announced in the last couple of weeks that the analysts estimates might be too low.

In my mind the question is when to buy puts on the internet stocks. They are still running like a freight train and I'm thinking Q1 99 may be the time.

TO THE THREAD:

for those of you interested i would like you to "PM" me and state if you are more of a position trader or a day trader.

Starting monday i will put out 3 picks:
1.position play
1.day trade
1.short play

myself: i'm 95 % day trader and 5% position trader.....i will now start to incorporate shorting into my day trading.....on friday i shorted dell and then bought it back long for the day....nice profit on both plays.

Yeah, but not because of INTC. I'll be watching for the third consecutive "new all time high" close, and go out of the money and 7 months out.

BTW, anyone who wants to get cheap stock sometime next year should pick a price for what they want and put an open limit order in.

Disclaimer: anyone who buys options at any time under any circumstances should plan on losing all the money. BAWK!
