Scanshift, let me ask this comparing my current broker (WSA) vrs my new MBT account.

With WSA yesterday I placed an order to BUY EGGS @ $12.875
I saw my order show up on Level II when NITE brought it up as the Bid @$12.875 (The inside bid was $13 1/16). I watched time & sales and the Level II and as the inside bid dropped, NITE rose higher on the screen until it was eventually the inside quote. I saw my trade come across T&S and I saw NITE drop back as soon as my trade executed.

I normally then get a confirmation via WSA's web page within a couple minutes. When I don't get a "confirmation" from time to time, I call my broker, and they find it and confirm verbally to me.

With MBT wouldn't this be basically the same? I'd see Archipelago on Level II with say my 2,000 shares and they d@mn well better execute that 2,000 for my account when I see it on T&S. If not I suppose I would call MBT to have them find out why I wasn't filled, and if it was an ongoing unresolved problem, I might choose to never use Archipelago again. Rather I'd preference some other ECN or MM.
Since all I see are RAVE REVIEWS on S.I. over MBT's executions, I am under the impression that getting fills is not an issue here. That's the main reason I have opened an account with MBT. FAST EXECUTIONS.

Excuse me if I don't understand the mechanics of ordering via MBT, I don't actually start trading until December 1st. Just trying to learn the ropes here today so I'll be prepared!
