Stockleader, yeah, KTEL shorts hard to get. (doesn't that tell everybody about perception of where this dog is going)

However, the fact you can't get shorts could also mean your broker can't find any or doesn't want the risk (given ridiculous hyping of all internet stocks) of letting their traders have them. Too bad because some good money to be made off of shorts real soon!!!!

Stock leader, I shorted KTEL heavily at Dreyfus the day of the Microsoft hype. Soon after, and since then it has become not shortable. When it dropped to 10, KTEL seemed to have strong temporary support and I sorta expected it to bounce up a little. Knowing that if I covered, the borrowed shares may be gone for good, so I boxed them. Unboxed half at 13. My point is that many shorts have chosen to box, then unbox later on. Shares that were borrowed have not been returned, finding new shares to short is almost impossible.

Regards,

Tom
