Haven't been to B&N online, yet, Glenn. I guess that's my point. My consistently good
experiences with Amazon over the past year encourage me to keep buying from them,
and discourage me from taking the time and making the effort to check out a competing
site.

Robert,

Your point is well taken. Yhe "newbies" coming online will likely go to Barnes and Noble first. Barnes and Nobles is doing an excellent job of gaining alliances and the best "real estate" online. The biggest gem is AOL but they are big on USA Today, CNN, etc. I know AMZN has YHOO and wish I knew when that contract was up for renewal.

I do have a B&N gift certificate I need to use, however, so maybe that will be my
motivator....

Just a few months abo AMZN had a far superior site. Not anymore so that first onlinbe advantage manybe over hyped. I can't say I know for certain.

Glenn

PS Please tell me what you think of the BKS site after you try it and what you think of their delivery, etc.
