Tom, true and an arguement can be made for "hype" of the issue
by brokers et al., which will give MALL/UBID a lift but, again since 2/3's can and most likely Will be shorted it may be a battle from the start...tough call... I'm gonna sit on the sidelines watching...unless of course it touches 16-18 range again.

Tom, I don't see where you found this "3 million UBID shares float" from. If you read the SEC filing on Nov 18th, 1998, you will see that Creative Computers owns 100% of UBID currently. The IPO has not happened yet. You CANNOT TRADE UBID SHARES UNTIL THE IPO OCCURS. It would be an SEC securities violation for Creative Computers to promise the sale or UBID shares to ANYONE based on SEC regulations before the IPO. So where exactly does this 3 million UBID shares come from that's being traded actively at $24? Please enlighten me. My Merril Lynch broker and myself are both very baffled by your comments. We've been discussing your statements at length and found no facts to back up your claims. Please substantiate where you discovered the 3 million UBID shares float.

Tom, your comments are EXTREMELY MISLEADING.

If I read you correct, you're assuming that the 3 million UBID shares float are coming from the 4 million MALL shares float. However, that's absolutely WRONG.

1) Shorting MALL WILL NOT drive the price of UBID down.
2) You CANNOT SHORT UBID SHARES...PERIOD! (Shorting MALL does NOT EQUAL shorting UBID. They are two separately trading stocks).
3) The UBID float REMAINS at 1.58 million shares...not the 4.6 million like you suggested.

Tom, I don't know what your agenda is but I find all your comments very misleading. Your reasoning in your post regarding the 3 million UBID shares sounds like this:

"If I punch your father in the face, you will get a black eye."

MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER!! Sure, you might feel very bad if your parents get socked in the eye but that doesn't mean you'll have a black eye. Your reasoning is so flawed that its actually sorta funny.
Oh well, I hope the readers on this board have more sense than to listen to your reasoning.

TOM,
I suppose you shorted CMGI @ the GCTY IPO.
MLC is pumping the gas here; place your bets.
BTW I'm really amazed at all the intellect trying to valuate INTERNUT stocks. Not worth reading.

BRICE
