Just got my Raven Banshee board for my old piece of crap system...so far NOT IMPRESSED...my story... Well, got that new Raven Banshee board...looking forward to trying it out! My P200mmx and V1 is a little out of date, but switching from V1 to Banshee ought to help a bit. Heck, it is a PCI card after all...surely it isn't meant for cutting edge systems. And everyone says that for low end systems, Banshee is the way to go.... Case is open...yank out old cards, install new card... Boot up...detected...drivers...boot...Hey, it worked! Cool! Lets go to Quake2 for some Benchmarking...huh...not quite what I expected, but an improvement, and an extra notch in resolution basically for free...lets see what Q2 looks like in 10x7...CRASH Lets check on Final Reality bench...CRASH Ok, how about running Klingon Honor guard...CRASH... SHIT! Ok, lets try the games in the bundle...first we'll try The Rock- I love driving games! Oh my God...this is a joke...no readme file? No options menu? worst of all it is the choppiest piece of crap I have ever seen...Ultimate Race pro has similar graphics, and FLYS on my V1! NFS2SE...FLYS on my V1. Maybe I'll try those next, but I think they both need V2 patches...meanwhile, I can't help but think of how many people returned these...I may be next...at least everything ran with V1. ----- That's my story so far...think I will go get the patch for the raven and some patches for other games and see if things don't work out a bit better. If that doesn't work, I'll have to rely on Chip "tech support" Anderson....:) PS: Chip, how is that TNT...I hope your delay isn't due to your being embarassed to sing its praises....I
