"Difference is that if Jesus the man had chosen not to walk to that cross and die for the lost world,( and He did not have to,He chose to), and be raised to the glory of the Father, then I could NOT have ever saved myself"

Your words. Jesus never lived and the bible story tell he prayed God to spare him. Hmmmmmm sounds familiar.

"QUIT PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH AND LEAVE YOUR INNER
SELF TO YOUR INNER SELF, ....fair enough?

Hardly fair, You do it to others all the time. And he couldn't reciprocate for you keep puttting your foot in it.

Har de Har as you say.

Dan,

"I see the distinction you are attempting to push on me. Difference is that if Jesus the man had chosen not to walk to that cross and die for the lost world,( and He did not have to, He chose to), and be raised to the glory of the Father, then I could NOT have ever saved myself."

Then how did Moses and the others who preceded Jesus save themselves?

"I see the distinction you are attempting to push on me."

Why do you feel I am trying to push anything upon you? When the student is ready, the teacher appears. If you are not the one who is ready, perhaps I am the student and you the teacher. We are each only ready for what we want to be.

" QUIT PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH AND LEAVE YOUR INNER SELF TO YOUR INNER SELF"

Putting words in each other's mouth is something we've all been doing a lot of, and perhaps an unavoidable part of being human. As to my not speaking of my inner self, I suspect that you have said the same to Paul, Jesus, and yourself. Let me ask you this, if a spiritual discussion is not to be an honest dialogue about our inner self and development, what is it to be about? Our outer self? Perhaps you would rather speak of the temple than he who dwells within. Is that truly spiritual honesty and a spiritual dialogue? Or have you sought to keep this realization from yourself? I did once too. The Wisdom of the Ages awaits the honest man. There are no mistakes to be revealed, only lessons. Revealing our lessons is not a weakness, but a strength, and we can all learn from each other.

Peace,
Darrin
