Wafa: I thought that the SOFC was the best hope that fuel cells had as it was a stationary unit. At the time Westinghouse was the world leader in SOFC. The unit has since been sold to Seimens and they have totally abandoned the SOFC as a viable project. I doubt if you will see general use of either a Ballard or an ERC product in our lifetime. As it applies to Auto's I belive that the future is a refined ICE ( internalCombustion engine ) and to that end my current interest is in a small company that has a lock on Direct Fuel Injection - DFI its name is Orbital Engine you may wish to take a look at it - the SI thread is very active and very technical at times.
Now superconductivity is a subject I know very little about - but then I knew little about DFI before I bought shares in Orbital. What is the story?
I doubt if anyone would mind us being off topic on the CIC thread as
few hardly ever stop by anymore.

John
