Chief,
No be mad at me! I respect your skills as a day trader and intend to learn from you as time goes on.
Not agreeing with me on the BXM story is your prerogative; I can only assume that you did not follow it from the beginning.

Hello Chief and all:

I'm a long time lurker and a "first time caller' on the thread and
just wanted to add my congrats on the best thread on the net.
I've been trying to learn the game for about 2 years and have been following SI
almost daily since then and have never before seen a thread with
virtually 100% of the posts offering such civilized and helpful info.
(group hug #2 I think ;))
Keep up the good work and congrats to all!

While I'm here allow me to ramble on a Saturday night if I may.

Keith, I started trading in penny's for the same reasons as yourself and lost my shirt in the first year. Took a year off trading, took
the CSC course, followed SI, and I too have recently come to the conclusion
that mid to high cap daytrading is where I want to be.

Thoughts on daytrading: As a part-time daytrader in training it's
frustrating when opportunities are missed while working and I think
discipline is the name of this game. I appreciate everyone's input
on your thought process for daytrading.

Chief, I was happy to see that my "one's to watch tomorrow list'
was strikingly similar, albeit shorter than yours, and for what its
worth (remember its free) here are some thoughts and questions.

CM- like Keith I held overnite after buying in at 34.50. I'll hold
a stock closing at its high for the day, especially so when the
financials have momentum. We'll see Monday a.m.

RPP-couldn't figure out mid-week if it was tax loss selling or dumping
or what, but CIBC now tells us that it was buying big time. Last year
Repap fell to about 12 cents at tax loss time, in January this year
CIBC announced it took a large position and the stock ran from
19 cents to 28 cents in a week!.

NNN-results come out Tuesday and I've found that profit taking appears
the day before results after a stock has had a good run leading up to them. Takeover rumours are a different twist on this one though.

I'm also wondering about PHV. It seemed to have found some resistence
between .75 and $1 before crashing on doomsday fears this week.
With that temporarily out of the way I'm eyeing this one. Any thoughts?

Like I said, rambling on a Saturday night, hope I'm not out of line
as I know you want daytrading activity on this thread but, hey, we
can't trade right now. :(

Like others before have said, I'm a part timer and only in the learning phase so posts will be sporadic, but I'll be lurking!

Congrats again and good luck everyone
CGreen

Chief and all,
After rereading my post on the X topic, as you suggested in your PM, I did realize that some people may have been offended by my comment about the late comers. If there is anybody out there who was, please accept my sincere apologies.
What I should have said is that anybody who bought in the later stage of the game, did so either because he blindly followed what turned out to be bad advise or simply got caught up in the hysteria without doing any sort of DD.
Once again, my apologies for a badly phrased comment.
