<-------I still LOVE EBAY like everyone else / but I have lowered my stake to a small
amount--- we are in the mania market cap stage ---
once a bad market mood appears the focus on logical business concepts begin to
increase -- market cap being one of them >

I also lightened up on EBAY, by selling half my position yesterday at 144. Had tripled my investment in the stock in a short month, and just believed it would be insane not to lock in some of the profits. But I am keeping the other half, as this stock still has a lot of momentum, no matter how absurd its valuation might be.

I am expecting a lull or modest retracement for the internets over the next month. However, should the stock correct below 125 before Christmas, I plan to load up some more, barring an unforseen world event or something.

The earnings report in January should be spectacular, and there may be another rate cut at that time. Again barring unforseen world events, I expect this stock to at least triple in 1999.

Go Ebay!
