Michael/all, Digital camera storage: a friend showed me the Mavica
(made by Sony) today. It stores the images on a standard 1.44MB
floppy. He said it stores only one picture at the highest resolution
and about 24 at the lowest. The convenience of slipping the floppy
in your PC drive to transfer the pictures cannot be denied.

I hope Click! will show up as a built-in drive in a digital camera
soon. Other camera makers would then follow. The Click! could
hold maybe 30 high resolution pictures, and several hundred low resolution ones.

Iomega would have to come up with a convenient way to transfer the
images to a PC. Cables are clumsy.
