TO GEORGE D., CRAIG, TECHNO, et al

The following is an excerpt from a newsletter from the home page of SI. It is feature of SI where the author is touting particular stocks. He states the following:

"Networks are moving away from circuit-switched networks to packet-switched networks. Cisco is dominant in packet switching equipment. In other words, this means that the market is moving towards Cisco. As noted above, their stock does trade at a lofty valuation and is expected to earn around $1.50 fiscal 1999. The demand for Cisco's products should remain strong over the next several years. Cisco's stock recently hit the low 40's during the market sell-off and has since rebounded. This is not uncommon for their stock. I think their shares can hit $90 sometime in 1999. "

My question is this: Is the concept of going to "packet switching" relevant to us ? Is this paragraph positive, negative or neutral to us, and particularly, if it suggests dramatically increased FC market in the LAN, et al. ?

Thanks
