Yes, someone please verify the date of the injunction hearing. If Walmart is granted a
temporary (usually 10 day) injunction that keeps Amazon from using their stolen
merchandise tracking software, it could crush their fourth quarter results- they could
effectively be put out of business unless they start taking and shipping orders with pencil,
paper, and calculators.

The chances of obtaining an injuction during the first hearing are very slim. The evidence has to be overwhelming or the judge would prefer to see more evidence before causing that much damage to a firm.

The lawyers for AMZN will argue that an injunction in December could do harm that AMZN could not survive but that Walmart will not be "damaged" much further until more evidence is collected.

I have no clue what Walmart has as evidence.
