" We're talking about supplanting the TLAB model with a different one. So, in that respect, you are correct. But CIEN's add-drop capabilities at the higher throughput levels can do effectively the same thing as the high end Digital Cross Connects at the OC-xy rates. That's one of the reasons that TLAB needs CIEN, in order to integrate this capability into its own high end boxes, before they have a good portion of their lunch box lifted.
