Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch Inc., an online provider of
tickets to live events and local city guides, plans to raise $63
million towards the end of the following week. UBid Inc., an
online auction firm, plans to raise $21.3 million that week or
the following.
Also, E-Tek Dynamics Inc., a maker of components
for fiber optic networks, plans to raise $36 million on Thursday,
Dec. 3.
'Signs of Life'
''We are seeing signs of life,'' said Scott Sipprelle, co-
founder of Midtown Research Group, which advises institutional
investors on IPOs. ''It's just unclear whether it's the reflex
twitch of a dying man or else the body come back to life.''

I'll say 80% of 2 Mil=1.6 Mil is probably close, to the short interest. Not 3 Mil...Nasdaq has accurate info so do some of the brokerage houses.
