>>If you didn't already have an i1000, would Fidelity offer one to you? I'm wondering how large the list of clients is, i.e., how many phones are they buying?>> Rob: I know many, many, many people in the brokerage industry - people with influence across multiple depts across many firms. I say, if full-brokerage firms can't get their brokers on the web - using email for fear of what they write, etc. - why the heck can't they push Nextel phones in the hands of every blasted BIG client. Seems like a winner to me. Debit the phone bill on the brokerage statement. This kind of "link" is just the beginning. We are witnessing the "Internetization" of the Global marketplace. Nextel phones are perfect lasers to get people who do business with each other connected. I've been posting about this concept for months now. Good to see someone in Nextel corporate is reading these tea leaves. Get more towers out gentlemen. I really think we are off to the races everyone. Nextel is the wireless sleeping giant that sneeks beneath the door and steals customers from competitors by WORD OF MOUTH, period!!! I strongly recommend that Nextel take the Fidelity model NATIONAL!!! I'd be happy to be a user guinnea pig. I've rolled up my sleaves here in Chicago to test this model myself. I think it goes beyond Nextel's Business Networks. There are 2-3 other iterations of this model which I will lay on the table as time goes by. Arnie, are you listening. I talked to you about this and you thought I was CRAZY. Fidelity's move should make you rethink this. Soccor Moms here we come. Chirp, chirp, chirp.......will drown out the sounds of cash registers in grocery stores across the nation. That'd be us men doing the heavy lifting work - "ok honey....go down isle 2 and grab me some baby food.....and while you're at it sweetheart can you pick up 5 100 lbs. of dog food at PetSmart". Craig/Dan, all we ask is that you get the money to build more towers.
