"Durants conclusion is just another biased opinion. Why not read the history and contrary religions and make your decision on research rather than faith in the the bible or some other faith believer like Durant who evidently did not check very much to be convinced he was right."

Are you suggesting he not merely believe in Durant as being the savior of his beliefs? ; )

Durant is an accomplished historian. I think he did a thorough job on the subject and was completely objective as he should be as an historian. He took many pages discussing the different aspects of the Higher Criticism and dismissed them. I only typed the conclusion. You're lucky I don't have a scanner. Or maybe I am because I couldn't afford the copyright lawsuit!
