Oh, God, Skipper, your libertarian skivies are peeking out...

The period on the thread to which you refer had a handful of Ayn Rand wannabes spouting all sort of inhumane and egomaniacal crap. Terrie was the lieutenant, you were one of the lemming recruits.

This, I will repeat, crap was taken as gospel with the same intensity that Emile and his lookalikes take the Jesus path.

I started on SI with a stock thread, then tested the Poets room, which branched, somehow, into Feelings.

I always found Terrie disturbing, saddening, in a way. He had such obvious versatility and capacity - but it was of the sort that could be tamped into the heartless bowl of a callous pipe. Also, increasingly, when he was outfenced, he resorted to idiocies - as he has done recently, even including Steve in his range.

My Purpose is probably right on line with Steve's, a bit of play.

You religious and social fanatics are so sorrowfully serious.

Skipper,

PMs, eh? Is that like whispering behind someone's back?

Yes. And I confess that it is entirely possible that he may once have said something intelligent, and if I just tried hard enough to find it I might be impressed. But I do not care for his style, to use the term loosely. Like scraping fingernails on a blackboard, then proclaiming that the resulting sound is music.

What are we supposed to do, applaud?

Steve
