Haim,
IMHO,from a psychological perspective you are on target.The strong recovery from the Oct '97 crash and now this tiny and short lived bear market makes a stronger case for the possibility that people are even more in a position to get blindsided.You are a realist.But when things like "don't fight the fed" and "don't fight the tape" rule the market,the fundementals don't matter.I remember being able to find some real gems with strong fundementals and solid growth and it was easy to make money....aaahhh,those were the days!
With the amount of angst so many went through lately,I would have thought more would want to step back with the recovery in their profits...but from the few people I have spoken with,that is not the case.
