Wiley, FWIW, I consider stochastics, rsi, and those type of indicators as more coincident than leading. Remember that most of those types of indicators are oscillators... varying from a 0 to 100 reading. Oscillators do not work well in trending markets (but should work better in trendless markets), since they tend to become overbought early in uptrends, and then remain overbought for some time while price just keeps advancing. The opposite is true in a downtrend. MAC can be lagging or coincident, depending on how you use it, imo. Later Frank
