According to Stocksmart, a few more institutions are registering the changes in their holdings for the period between 6/30/98 and 9/30/98.

So far, 5 of the top 10 institutions have filed their changes. During this time, where the stock was volatile (but ended up around the same place it started) institutions bought 551,350 shares and sold 62,000 (about a 9 to 1 ratio).

The largest institutional holder is now Gruber and McBaine Capital management which added 87,100 shares to the 428,000 shares it purchased in the second quarter (total of 515,100). Total institutional (and mutual fund) ownership is now about 3.6 mill shares, up from about 400,000 at the beginning of the second quarter.

All,

Does anyone else notice the almost identical chart patterns for IFCI when comparing the periods of 9/21-10/16 and 11/4 to present. If the pattern holds, we should be in for a couple of days of fun in the sun-- say up to the high 8's maybe 9. BTW, if we are up tomorrow we will more than likely see the RSI line go above 70. Any thoughts?<ggg>
