Paul,
Agree with your sentiments. Dell should really kick it up a notch, as side money yet to come back to Dell, but undoubtedly will this quarter, for the ride up, at least presplit to March!

AMZN is out of control, and I don't want to get burned. Wish had the courage to sell it short.

<<Looking for a fire sale before I enter either Yhoo or Amazon! I think that with Nov option is out of the way, money will flow back to companies like Dell which has not participated in the recent market upswing. Do not forget about year end rally . Those internet stocks have their moments in the sun, so a little pullback might occur. Yet this is a pure speculative move with a willingness to take a loss quickly should Amazon goes up more.>>

It is for sure that the internet is a revolutionary new and here to stay phenomenon.
The thing which troubles me is that none of the
factors which we would normally review a company exist here except that there is a internet mania. I think that AOL is among the best in the indusry but the stock has already discounted the next 10 years of growth. The internet stocks may run a lot more who knows?? If a company like Dell which is earning more revenue then any other company that I can think of and is stuck in the mud, why should one be interested in throwing money and bidding up any other company(IMHO). Maybe the idea here is to just buy, buy and buy more internet stocks and not to ask questions. Did you see the NBR Friday night where the guest market monitor said to buy AOL and AMZN?? I hope that the buying will start again with Dell and yes December and January historically have been up months. The day before Thanksgiving is usually a good day too.

Best Wishes
Frank
