Intel certainly got off to a good start with its investment in Red Hat. A good next step would be to promote Linux based servers and workstations to the box community, e.g DELL, CPQ. DELL has already begun quietly shipping Linux based systems to larger customers who request the OS, and it wouldn't take much to expand the capability.
