Does anyone know how I can set a multi-page template
as the default template? When I use the "set as default",
it only uses the current/active page and ignores the
other pages in the multi-page template that I'm using.

I'm struggling like a duck in the desert, any help would
be greatly appreciated!

Regards,
NorthStar

Hi Tim,

I use QP virtual for some symbols and physical MSWIN files for others.
For example, I use QP Automatic Update for Indices, and save the charts as "Charts" (not Smart Charts) so I can draw trendlines, write notes, etc. I don't use Smart Charts. This option makes all charts take much longer to load, and gets in my way when moving from symbol to symbol with a common template.

I have sub-directories "Indices", "Watch", "Own" and a few others under D:\META. The symbols in these directories don't change much day to day. I update these automatically using Metastock Output.
I have sub-directories for various scans using QP-Virtual under D:\METAV.

I have tried to come up with a way to create an alphabetically organized real MS directory Sounds like hours of fun to implement and maintain!<g>

I try to use the tools to get their powerful features. I use QP scans to narrow down choices, even just flip through charts, because it is fast. MSWIN is quite slow by comparison to move through charts. But it allows custom indicators, explorations, system testing and Chart experts with symbols, which are great features.

Regards,
Paul
