By reading some documents on MB home I got the impression that the "gainers and losers" in RT3 are updated every 30 minutes after market open, not updated continuously, am I wrong? Can someone explain to me? Thanks.

This isn't documented on the sonic webpage, but MBT actually has two levels of RT-III. The $300 (down to $100 at 20 trades) is the well known MB Trader product. They also have MB Custom. The monthly is $200 instead of $300 (and goes away at 20 trades). As far as I can tell, it's just not fully tweakable (e.g. they give you a canned configuration with Level-II display, Order Entry, etc) all in one fixed window. Supposedly no loss of functionality though. Still, and all, if you are in the black each month, unless you're rolling in dough, it's hard to turn your nose up at anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand in savings, yeah...
