Alan,

"so what better way to convince oneself that satan does not exist to simply eliminate Sin and Death this will be done with the blood of Yeshua when we accept him as Lord and are Sins no longer exist nor does Death since we will be given eternal bodies. But this is Earth my friend and Sin and Death does exist when you refuse to acknowledge it you leave it open to conquer you in the end that is what satan wants...... Who is our salvation to conquer Sin and Death very simply Jesus our Lord through Confession he is the one that defeated satan on the cross.. If any one is running from their problems its the ones who are in denial that satan, fear and Death do not exist... You attack ones problem by dealing with it not denying it exists when it does."

My point is that one does not solve a problem by dwelling on the problem. One solves a problem by dwelling upon the answer. In dwelling upon the answer, the problem ceases to exist. In such a way we cease to grant reality to Satan by walking in light, and the concept of Satan simply ceases to exist.

If your point and result is the same, more power to you. : )

Peace,
Darrin

Hi Alan,

I was reminded again this morning of this:

"A farmer went out to sow his seed.
4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.
8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop--a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.
9 He who has ears, let him hear."

Every Christian sows, but it is hard to tell on what kind of "ears" this will fall on. One thing I do know. God will give the increase.

Thanks for being sowers.

Give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever.

dan

Alan,

Sam saw beyond the immediate problem of the man pointing the gun, and saw the answer that the man was seeking, and gave it to him. The man sinned, and hopefully, he learned, from Sam. It is entirely unnecessary that the man be jailed and punished, which is deemed to "teach someone a lesson" if they have already gotten it. It is equally unnecessary for Sam to track down and kill the man who pointed the gun at him in blood sacrifice and vengeance.

Sam knows the meaning of forgiveness. Your Yeshua is no more necessary to the process than were the police. It is simply a perception of what is right in this world, instead of what is wrong and needing to be punished. It is about healing, and not punishment.

Those that revel in sacrifice seek punishment, and in so doing, lose the possibility of healing.

There was a woman on tv the other day. Her head was filleted open by a vicious attack, yet she survived. Her father, a minister, did not. Her father had told her that if he was ever murdered, that he would not wish to see the one who killed him receive the death penalty. He had too great a respect for life, and not just his own.

His daughter honors his vision every day by going into court to fight for the life of her father's killer. This woman could have become exceptionally bitter and destroyed her outlook on life over this event. Instead, she chooses to honor life and her father. This woman has truly learned the meaning of compassion and healing. And she seeks to grant the same to her attacker, the killer of her father.

It does not matter if she is able to heal the killer, she is healing herself in honoring life, and not dwelling in death.

I do not know that my faith is that strong, but what I do know is that this woman is an inspiration to us all, and believes in a God of love and light, not sacrifice, fear, and retribution.

Peace,
Darrin
